so today i was really excited cause i got off work an hour early and i was supposed to watch across the universe with my mom when i got home, and i thought maybe since i was coming home early she'd actually get through the whole movie instead of falling asleep halfway through. well, needless to say, i was very upset when i got on the eight and imediately came to a halt and there were sirens everywhere- and i mean everywhere on the freeway. it wasnt until i came up to the sight of the crash [a good twenty minutes later] that i realized how selfish i was being. a car was completely totalled and there was a man getting serious medical attention on the side of the road. i felt like a complete a-hole. i also decided to drive slower... at least for a day or two. and i also spent the rest of my way home praying for the guy in the crash. i hope he gets through it ok.
ps- i got off work at seven. its almost nine and i have yet to start the movie cause im waiting around for my mom. i think she hates me. haha.
